Front-row view of Nanga Parbat
Cabins and porch are oriented so the mountain is the first thing you see at sunrise. The orange light on the snow is what guests come for.
Fairy Meadows · 3,306 m · A front-row seat to the Killer Mountain
Hand-built wooden cabins on an alpine meadow at 3,306 m — where Nanga Parbat rises uninterrupted from the porch, the air smells of pine and woodsmoke, and the only alarm clock is the first light on the snow.
01The House on the Meadow
Broad View sits in a clearing of pine and alpine meadow at 3,306 metres. From the porch the line of Nanga Parbat (8,126 m) is unobstructed — the ninth highest mountain on earth, framed like a painting.
The house draws guests who care less about thread counts and more about the colour of light at six in the morning. There is a fire most nights and tea always.
